Jay Waldman – Chief Executive Officer

With over 30 years of senior management experience in the same-day delivery industry, Jay is recognized as an innovative thought leader and senior executive having been responsible for the success of many well known industry firms. As founder and president of Contemporary Courier, Inc., he led the company to a lofty position prior to its purchase by U. S. Delivery Systems (NYSE: DLV) where he was responsible for the integration and assimilation of over 20 acquired companies. Recognizing his leadership talents, Jay was selected for senior management positions with Corporate Express (NASDAQ: CEXP) including President for the Northeast Region and, after its purchase, became Chief Operating Officer of Velocity Express (NASDAQ: VEXP). A member of the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas and the New York State Messenger Association, Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Transportation from Northeastern University.



Errol Cvern – President

Errol Cvern, President of Select Express & Logistics, is responsible for all of the company’s financial, legal, and technological practices. A career that spans more than two decades, Errol began as an owner in Contemporary Courier. He also served as a Regional Vice President for Velocity Express responsible for overseeing operations in 9 Northeastern states with annual revenues of over $120 million. Errol is an acknowledged leader in information technology and it’s been his forward thinking that has propelled Select Express & Logistics to the forefront in the industry. Errol has also been involved in many of the industry’s associations, having served as a board member and President of the New York State Messenger and Courier Association.
Errol, a Certified Public Accountant, was a Senior Auditor in Public Accounting prior to entering the delivery industry. He graduated from the State University of Albany with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.



Joseph Gallo – Senior Vice President

Joe is responsible for Select Express & Logistics sales, marketing and customer relationship marketing programs including client solution development, management interface and program integration. Joe has over 20 years of senior level sales and operations experience in the same-day delivery and LTL industries. As Senior Vice President of Velocity Express, he was responsible for the sales coordination of 57 Account Executives and 5 Regional Directors throughout the US and Canada. Prior to that role, Joe was General Manager of Velocity’s New York City Business Unit which was the companies’ largest and most profitable operation. With a BA in Political Science and Economics from the State University of New York Oswego, Joe is a member of the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas and the Mail Systems Management Association.



Nick Galotti – Vice President Human Resources and Administration

Since 1979, Nick has held senior level positions across a wide swath of the expedited delivery industry including airfreight, international air courier, distribution and same-day courier. Prior to his position with Select Express, Nick was Network Manager for Velocity Express, responsible for total management oversight of all operations in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Nick's strong background and experience in human resources and administration helps provide the leadership necessary for Select Express’ rapidly growing, multi-location business.
